Hope Center   Resurrection has served a monthly meal at Lexington’s HOPE Center for more than 10 years. We serve dinner on the fourth Friday evening each month from 5-6:00 p.m. We also purchase, cook and serve a Christmas Dinner to the guests of the HOPE Center. We are always looking for new volunteers to help with this ministry. If you would like to help, contact the Parish Office for information.

The Hope Center in Lexington, Kentucky, is a homeless shelter for adult men. It is also much more. In addition to providing food and shelter, the Hope Center operates a variety of programs that address the individual causes of homelessness and that return clients to responsible, independent lives.

Church Bus   Resurrection owns a 24-passenger bus that is used by other churches and organizations as well as for outreach/mission and diocesan-sponsored activities. The bus is clearly part of our identity as a church. With proper maintenance, this diesel-powered vehicle should continue to serve the church, the diocese, and other groups for many years to come. Contact the church office for  information about bus availability: 859-885-6391 or resurrectionky@outlook.com

Moveable Feast  Monday thru Friday, Moveable Feast volunteers deliver hot, fresh meals to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Central Kentucky area. Twice a week, clients receive bags of groceries that can provide one-third of their nutritional needs. Typically, grocery bags include items such as fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, and cereals.

For more than 7 years, The Church of the Resurrection has shared in this ministry by delivering hot meals on the third Friday night of each month and we are almost always short-handed!
